Foundrae’s new collection of ceramic plates take design cues from the brand’s mystical jewellery

Fine jewellery brand Foundrae has launched a new homeware collection at Browns just in time for new year shenanigans – even if your party is rather smaller than planned.

The collection comprises five ceramic miniature plates, either available separately or as part of an indulgent gift box. Embellished with a gold design that nods to Foundrae’s signature mystical motifs, intricate illustrations depict the ten foundations of the brand – strength, karma, dream, protection, wholeness, passion, true love, resilience, internal compass and dream.

‘We are so pleased to have partnered with [Foundrae co-founder] Beth Bugdaycay to deliver a beautiful and truly unique product within this new category offering from Foundrae,’ says Hollie Harding, buying manager of non-apparel at Browns. ‘Beth’s jewellery is both captivating and inspiring, and it’s so exciting to see this transcend into something just as special for the home too.’

The scaled-down proportions of the plates make them a chic addition to a dinner table – use them as a teacup saucer, a holder for incense, or fill them with nibbles to serve at cocktail hour.

The collection builds on the jewellery designers’ philosophy of creating modern heirlooms that make sentimental adornments. Co-founders, and husband and wife, Murat and Beth Bugdaycay draw from a multitude of cultures for the gold pieces. Beth says of the philosophy behind her jewels: ‘Each symbol is a tool of self-discovery and self-expression. Each wearer’s personal compilation is a way to help communicate more openly about how each of us got here as well as what we envision our next chapter to be, in order to inspire and to help not just ourselves, but each other and the next generation to live more fulfilling lives.’ §
